The congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Delta is a welcoming, friendly and caring bunch. We are a family of Christian believers who happen to be “presbyterian,” though we come from a variety of churches and denominations. and are constantly learning about our faith.
We love to reach out to help those in need in Delta and in mission efforts elsewhere.
Our purpose is to worship and serve God, grow in our faith in Jesus, and care for others in need. We believe that every person is a child of God, made in the image of God. All are welcome and valued by the Presbyterian church of Delta family as our brothers and sisters in Christ.
The Presbyterian Church of Delta is part of the Presbytery of Western Colorado and has served as a beacon of light for Jesus Christ to the Delta area since 1884. Although we are presently a small congregation, we are growing and we still have big hearts desiring to be the “hands and feet” of Jesus in Delta and beyond. We strive to be both believers and followers of Jesus Christ.
We seek to be Christians who don’t just “talk” about what we believe, rather we seek to serve Christ by “doing” what we believe. We want to learn more about our faith in God so that we may find more meaningful and relevant ways to care for others in need.
